Atlant Van Lines is a licensed household goods broker, not a motor carrier. We find the right licensed carrier for your route and date, and our vetted local crews can clean, fix and set up both homes, so you don’t have to lift a finger.
Every carrier we work with is FMCSA-authorized and checked for active authority and insurance before it is booked. Your rights are explained in the FMCSA guide “Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move”.

Long distance moving questions
Are you a moving company?
Atlant Van Lines is a licensed household goods broker (USDOT 7524160, MC 61173740). We arrange your move, and it is performed by an FMCSA-authorized interstate carrier.
What does full-service moving include?
Your move plus cleaning and light handyman work at your old home, your new home or both: move-out and move-in cleaning, mounting and small fixes. Furniture disassembly and reassembly are included in every move. Your coordinator schedules everything around your move dates.
Who does the cleaning and handyman work?
Vetted local crews working for Atlant Van Lines. We check their insurance and track every job with before-and-after photos.
How much does a long distance move cost?
The price depends on how much you’re moving, the distance, your move date and extra services. After your coordinator reviews your inventory, you get a written estimate before you book. Read what affects the cost of a long distance move.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend 4–8 weeks ahead. For summer, month-end and holiday dates, book earlier, because carrier capacity fills up fast.
How are my belongings protected?
Federal rules require interstate carriers to offer two liability options: Full Value Protection and Released Value Protection (60 cents per pound per article, at no extra charge). Your coordinator will explain both before you book.
