What changes from route to route
Distance and direction. Longer routes cost more in total, but the price per mile usually drops as distance grows. Some routes are busier in one direction, like moves to Florida in fall and winter.
Delivery window. On a shared truck, your belongings travel with other shipments, and the carrier delivers within a window, typically a few days to two weeks depending on distance. A dedicated truck can deliver on a set date for a higher price.
Season. Summer and month-end dates are the busiest across the country. Some routes have their own peaks, such as snowbird season for Florida and Arizona.
Access at both homes. High-rises, walk-ups, hills, gated communities and HOA rules affect truck size, labor and timing on any route. See how long distance moving works.
Moving route questions
Do you move on routes that aren’t listed here?
Yes. We plan moves between any two U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Pick your states in the form above or request a quote.
How is the delivery window calculated?
It depends mostly on distance and whether you choose a shared or dedicated truck. The carrier gives you the delivery window in writing before you book.
Is it cheaper to move on popular routes?
Often, yes. Busy routes have more trucks running, which can mean more scheduling options. Season and direction matter too.
Do you move to and from Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes. These moves combine truck and ocean shipping and take longer, usually several weeks.
Do you do local moves?
No. We plan interstate moves, from one state to another.
