Cleaning the old residence is one of the most stressful moving tasks, right after packing. With full-service moving, your coordinator books vetted local crews for this work and schedules them around your move dates. You choose where you need help: at the start, at the end, or at both ends.

Atlant Van Lines is a licensed household goods broker, not a motor carrier. Your belongings are moved by an FMCSA-authorized interstate carrier. Cleaning and handyman work are done by vetted local crews working for Atlant Van Lines.

What affects the price of full-service moving
The moving part is priced like any long distance move: by the volume of your belongings, the distance, your dates and access at both homes. Home services are added on top and depend on:
- Home size. Cleaning is priced by the number of rooms and bathrooms.
- Condition. A home that needs deep cleaning takes longer than a light clean.
- Handyman tasks. Priced by the number of items to mount, patch or fix.
- Location. Local labor rates differ between cities.
You get one written estimate with every service listed separately, so you can see what each part costs and remove anything you don’t need.

What is full-service moving?
Full-service moving combines your long distance move with the work around it. With Atlant Van Lines that means cleaning and light handyman work at your old home, your new home or both, coordinated by one person.
Can I add only one service, like cleaning?
Yes. Packages are a starting point. You can add any single service at either home, and every item is listed separately in your estimate.
What counts as light handyman work?
Patching nail holes, taking down or mounting TVs, shelves, mirrors and curtain rods, installing blinds and small fixes like loose handles or hinges. We don’t do plumbing, electrical or structural work.
Is furniture disassembly included?
Yes. Taking apart furniture that needs it for the truck (beds, tables, desks) and putting it back together at your new home is part of every move, done by the moving crew. You don’t need a package for that.
Who does the cleaning and handyman work?
Vetted local crews working for Atlant Van Lines. We check their insurance and track every job with before-and-after photos. The move itself is performed by an FMCSA-authorized interstate carrier.
Do I need to be home?
Not necessarily. Many customers leave a key or a lockbox code. Your coordinator agrees on access in advance and sends you photos when the job is done.
Are home services available everywhere?
Moving is available between all 50 states. Cleaning and handyman work are available in most major metro areas, and your coordinator confirms availability for both of your addresses before you book.
